Job Description
Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
Achieve monthly and annual disbursement, volume, and revenue targets for consumer loan products.
Develop and execute local sales strategies to grow market share.
Identify new business opportunities, dealer tie-ups, and distribution channels.
Drive cross-sell and up-sell of allied financial products.
Team Management
Recruit, train, coach, and manage a team of Relationship Officers / Sales Executives.
Set performance goals, monitor productivity, and conduct regular reviews.
Motivate the team to maintain high sales morale and ethical selling practices.
Channel & Partner Management
Build and manage strong relationships with dealers, retailers, DSA partners, and merchants.
Ensure activation, productivity, and engagement of all mapped partners.
Resolve partner queries and operational issues to improve turnaround time.
Customer Experience
Ensure smooth onboarding and documentation of customers.
Monitor customer service quality and minimize complaints.
Promote digital journeys and paperless processes wherever applicable.
Credit & Risk Coordination
Ensure adherence to credit policies, KYC norms, and regulatory guidelines.
Maintain portfolio quality by monitoring delinquency and early warning signals.
Coordinate with credit, operations, and collections teams for seamless execution.
MIS & Reporting
Track daily sales MIS, pipeline, and conversion ratios.
Analyze performance trends and submit regular reports to management.
Use data insights to improve productivity and efficiency.
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of consumer lending products and retail finance.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
Team leadership and people-management capabilities.
Result-oriented with strong execution and follow-through.
Working knowledge of LOS/LMS systems and digital lending platforms.
Educational Qualification
Graduate in any discipline (MBA / PGDM in Marketing or Finance preferred).
Experience
1 To 5 years of experience in consumer loans / retail lending.
Minimum 2–3 years in a team handling or managerial role.
Experience with NBFCs, banks, fintechs, or captive finance companies preferred.
