Job Description

A CASA Sales Officer is an entry-level bank or financial institution position responsible for acquiring new customers and selling Current Account and Savings Account (CASA) products, as well as other banking and third-party financial products like insurance. Key duties include acquiring new accounts, meeting daily and monthly sales targets, conducting field sales activities, nurturing customer relationships, and cross-selling. This role provides an entry point into a banking career, especially for graduates comfortable with field work and sales targets. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Acquisition: Identify, approach, and acquire new customers for CASA products, including individuals and corporate salary accounts.
  • Sales Targets: Achieve daily and monthly sales targets for opening accounts and selling other banking products.
  • Cross-Selling: Promote and sell other financial products, such as insurance, Mutual Funds (MF), Systematic Investment Plans (SIP), and fixed deposits, to new and existing clients.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to encourage retention and further business.
  • Field Sales: Conduct field sales activities and local travel to meet potential and existing customers.
  • Account Activation: Ensure newly opened accounts are activated by completing processes like UPI linkage and verifying the initial balance.
