Position: Ice Cream Parlour Staff Member

Reports to: Store Manager

Job Summary:

As an Ice Cream Parlour Staff Member, you will be responsible for delivering an outstanding customer experience in a fun and vibrant environment. You'll assist customers in selecting their perfect ice cream flavors, prepare and serve ice cream creations, maintain cleanliness, and ensure the smooth operation of the parlour. We’re looking for someone with a positive attitude, great communication skills, and a passion for delivering delicious desserts!

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Service:

• Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
• Provide assistance in selecting flavors, toppings, and any other questions about products.
• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by ensuring a positive dining experience.

1. Ice Cream Preparation:
2. 
   

• Serve ice cream and other frozen desserts in an efficient and visually appealing manner.
• Prepare milkshakes, sundaes, and other specialty desserts as required.
• Ensure the correct portion sizes and consistency of products.

1. Cleanliness and Organization:
2. 
   

• Keep work areas, equipment, and utensils clean and sanitized.
• Ensure all ice cream stations are stocked and organized.
• Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, ensuring tables, floors, and general space are tidy.

1. Inventory Management:
2. 
   

• Monitor stock levels of ingredients and toppings, and inform management when items need to be restocked.
• Assist with receiving deliveries and storing inventory.

1. Team Collaboration:
2. 
   

• Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure efficient operation during busy times.
• Assist in training new team members when needed.

1. Health and Safety Compliance:
2. 
   

• Follow food safety standards, health, and sanitation guidelines at all times.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous experience in customer service or food service is a plus, but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive, upbeat attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Passion for ice cream and delivering excellent service.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift and move up to 25 lbs when needed.
