Job Description
- Assigning tasks to workers and ensuring the daily production plan is followed.
- Monitoring raw materials and supplies so that production doesn't stop due to a lack of parts.
- Conducting regular spot-checks on the production line to catch defects early.
- Handling rosters, tracking attendance, and managing overtime or shift handovers.
- The ability to motivate a diverse workforce and make tough decisions under pressure.
- Understanding the specific machinery and manufacturing processes of the industry
- Checking incoming shipments against Purchase Orders (PO) to ensure the quantity and quality are correct.
- Updating the inventory every time an item enters or leaves the store.
- Issuing raw materials and tools to the factory floor based on "Material Requisition Slips."
- Preparing finished products for shipment, including labeling, packaging, and coordinating with logistics/courier teams.
