Medical Lab Technician

Position Summary:

Responsible for accurate sample collection, laboratory testing, coordination of corporate medical check-ups, and maintaining quality standards while ensuring smooth interaction with patients, doctors, and corporate clients.

• Key Responsibilities:Perform sample collection (blood, urine, swab, etc.) from patients at labs, clinics, camps, and home visits following standard protocols.
• Handle and process samples accurately, ensuring proper labeling, storage, and transportation.
• Conduct routine laboratory tests as per SOPs and assist in specialized diagnostic procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and hygiene standards in the laboratory and during sample collection.
• Manage corporate medical check-ups, health camps, and on-site sample collections.
• Coordinate with corporate clients for scheduling, documentation, and reporting of medical tests.
• Liaise with doctors, clinics, and healthcare partners for smooth operational flow.
• Prepare and maintain test records, reports, and MIS data related to lab operations and corporate accounts.
• Ensure timely delivery of reports to patients, doctors, and corporate clients.
• Handle patient queries professionally and provide guidance on pre-test requirements.
• Maintain inventory of lab consumables, reagents, and collection materials.
• Ensure compliance with NABL/ISO standards, biomedical waste management, and company policies.
• Support business development activities related to corporate medical tie-ups when required.
• Skills & Requirements:Diploma / Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT / BMLT or equivalent).
• Experience in sample collection and laboratory operations preferred.
• Knowledge of corporate medical check-ups and health camps is an advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle patients with care and professionalism.
• Willingness to travel for corporate and home sample collections.
