Solar Project Design & Execution Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Solar Project Design & Execution Engineer who can independently handle solar power projects from site survey to commissioning. The candidate should have strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in solar plant design, material planning, procurement, and project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct site surveys & feasibility analysis for solar power projects
• Design On-Grid / Off-Grid / Hybrid Solar PV Systems
• Prepare system layouts, SLDs, and technical drawings
• Prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and cost estimation
• Plan and execute material procurement
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for timely delivery
• Handle complete project execution at site
• Supervise installation of:
• Solar Panels
• Inverters
• Structure & Mounting Systems
• DC/AC Cabling & Earthing
• Ensure proper testing, commissioning, and handover of projects
• Maintain quality, safety, and timeline compliance
• Troubleshoot technical issues during execution
• Prepare project documentation and reports

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Solar PV system design
• Hands-on experience in site execution
• Knowledge of AutoCAD / Solar design software
• Understanding of electrical systems and safety standards
• Good vendor management & negotiation skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently

Qualification:

• Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering
• Solar certification (preferred but not mandatory)

Additional Requirements:

• Must be willing to travel for site visits
• Should have a valid driving license (preferred)
• Immediate joiners preferred
