Deputy General Manager - Civil BOP

Responsibilities

Main Responsibilities Execution of all construction activities of foundations, buildings along with finishing items, Contractors bill certification and familiarity with external/internal plumbing & sanitary systems, water supply & sewage treatment, Electrical thorough knowledge of finishing works like water proofing, painting, tiling works etc.

1. Execution BOP civil works like Coal Handling, Ash Handling packages, FOPH, CW System, DM and PT Plant, water storage earthen reservoirs, Ash Dykes, roads, drains , tanks and other small and major civil structures
2. Expertise in underground structures like underground Tunnel, water retaining structures and overhead structures like water tanks, towers, high rise industrial buildings, etc
3. Planning, Scheduling, reviewing the Engineering Drawings, thorough knowledge of Hydraulic structures, fixing of stop log gates, screens, and other steels structures, 
4. Thorough knowledge on Ash dykes, earthen bunds, case study on failure and rectification of industrial structures, water retaining structures 
5. Work experience on PCC lining works of reservoirs and Ash Dykes 
6. Through knowledge of Piling & RCC Structure like mass concreting, water retaining structures, Water proofing, Painting, Tiling works, RCC Roads, Bitumen roads, paving, precast slabs 
7. Through knowledge on IS Codes (ISO 9001) & HSE (ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001) norms along with relevant documentation, earth compaction, and RCC concrete mix design and admixtures etc
8. Maintaining existing infrastructure of the plant 
9. Implementing the standards and adhering to guidelines. 
10. Follow procedures as per the manufacturer guidelines and document each activity through proper check lists for reference.
11. Should have knowledge of contemporary rates of manpower and materials.
12. Should be capable of any modification required and development of drawings. 
13. Coordination with different departments
14. Planning, monitoring and execution of Civil / Construction jobs.
15. Certification of bills, rate analysis, preparation of bill of quantities etc.

Qualifications

Experience Total :  18+ Years 

Essential Qualification: BE/ B Tech-Civil

Essential Area of Expertise:

Must have In-depth knowledge of Civil Construction and erection activities, systems and practices in large power plants. Must have exposure to civil construction Quality and Safety activities in projects of capacity more than 500 MW/660MW Thermal Power Plant. He must have in depth knowledge on latest construction techniques with good attitude and team working spirits.
