DGM - Safety (Mirzapur)

Responsibilities

Roles and Responsibilities:

· Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with relevant regulations and company standards.

· Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and risks.

· Lead safety training sessions for employees and ensure awareness of safety protocols.

· Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and implement corrective actions.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

· Stay updated on industry best practices and trends to enhance safety programs.

· Prepare reports on safety performance, incidents, and compliance metrics for management review.

· Manage emergency response procedures and coordinate drills to ensure preparedness.

· Oversee the safety budget and resource allocation for safety initiatives.

· Provide guidance and mentorship to junior safety team members.

Qualifications

Education Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.

Certification required:

Certified Safety Professional (CSP), NEBOSH certification, and any other relevant safety certifications.

Experience:

20-25 years of relevant experience in the Power/Energy industry
