Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Bookkeeping: Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately.
• Budgeting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, analyzing variances and providing insights.
• Tax Compliance: Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Auditing: Support internal and external audit processes by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Reconciliation: Perform bank reconciliations and manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for cost savings.
• Policy Development: Assist in developing and implementing financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
