Job Title: Team Leader – Counselors & AI Specialists

Department: Sales / Admissions / Customer Success

Location: Work from Office

Reports To: Sales or Operations Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a proactive and goal-oriented Team Leader to manage a dynamic team of Counselors and AI Specialists. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving performance, ensuring consistent achievement of demo booking and conversion targets, and maintaining a positive, high-energy team culture.

You will play a key role in bridging human expertise with AI-powered engagement, helping the team deliver impactful conversations and exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Team Management:
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Counselors and AI Specialists to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
  • Set clear expectations, monitor performance, and provide coaching and feedback to enhance results.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, learning, and collaboration.
  • Performance & Operational Excellence:
  • Track team KPIs such as calls made, demos booked, conversions, and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify performance gaps and implement effective action plans to improve productivity.
  • Ensure high-quality communication and consistency across both counselor and AI interactions.

Training & Development:

  • Conduct regular training sessions and performance reviews to upskill team members.
  • Collaborate with product and marketing teams to enhance pitch quality, sales scripts, and AI engagement workflows.

Reporting & Insights:

  • Analyze daily and weekly reports to track performance trends.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 6 months + of experience in team leadership within sales, counseling, or admissions roles.
  • Proven record of achieving and exceeding performance targets.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and AI-based customer engagement tools is a plus.
