About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts & Finance Manager to oversee all financial and accounting activities for our retail fashion store. This role will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounts, financial planning, budgeting, compliance, and reporting to ensure the smooth financial operations of the business. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, knowledge of retail accounting practices, and the ability to provide financial insights that support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Accounting & Bookkeeping
• Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, reconciliations, and cash flow.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial records in line with accounting standards.
• Supervise inventory accounting, vendor payments, and payroll processing.
• Financial Management & Planning
• Develop budgets, forecasts, and financial plans aligned with business goals.
• Monitor store performance, margins, expenses, and profitability.
• Provide regular MIS reports and financial insights to management.
• Compliance & Controls
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.).
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
• Implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Strategic Support
• Advise management on cost optimization, pricing strategies, and financial risks.
• Support decision-making for new product lines, store expansion, or vendor negotiations.
• Evaluate investment opportunities and funding requirements.
• RequirementsBachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA/ICWA/MBA preferred)
• 3+ years of experience in accounts/finance, preferably in retail, fashion, or FMCG sector.
• Strong knowledge of accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, SAP, or similar).
• Solid understanding of taxation, compliance, and retail financial practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage a team and work cross-functionally with operations and sales.

Compensation:

• Salary: 30000-35000
