Job Description

We are an analytics consulting firm serving US and UK clients. We are seeking an experienced Business Development professional to own client acquisition and pipeline development across multiple channels. The role focuses on identifying opportunities, shaping deals, and driving revenue growth, with freelance platforms used as one of several acquisition channels.


The selected candidate will work closely with US and UK-based clients and the technical delivery team to convert qualified opportunities into long-term client relationships.


Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end business development and sales pipeline

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across multiple channels

• Use platforms such as Upwork and PeoplePerHour as lead sources, not transactional bidding

• Engage prospects through consultative discussions, not price-led pitching

• Lead requirement discovery, solution positioning, and deal qualification

• Coordinate discovery calls, proposals, commercials, and negotiations

• Maintain CRM hygiene and provide accurate pipeline visibility

• Support smooth transition from sales to delivery with internal teams


Candidate Profile

• Minimum 1 years of experience in IT services or consulting sales

• Demonstrated ownership of sales pipeline and deal closures

• Experience using online platforms for client acquisition at a strategic level

• Strong stakeholder communication, negotiation, and closing capability

• Comfortable selling value-based consulting services (not commodity staffing)
