Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Business Development Associate to support our sales and growth initiatives. This role is ideal for someone at an early stage of their career who is eager to build hands-on experience in IT services sales, lead generation, and client engagement. The associate will work closely with senior business development leaders to generate leads, qualify opportunities, and support deal closures across domestic and international markets.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
· Identify and reach out to potential clients through LinkedIn, cold emails, calls, referrals, and online marketplaces.
· Support outbound lead generation campaigns and maintain an active prospect pipeline.
· Assist in qualifying leads by understanding basic requirements such as tech stack, hiring needs, budget range, and timelines.
· Participate in discovery calls and follow-ups with guidance from senior team members.
· Help prepare proposals, rate cards, and basic engagement details for staffing and offshore team models.
· Coordinate with recruitment and delivery teams to align client requirements with available talent.
· Maintain accurate data in CRM tools and track outreach, responses, and follow-ups.
· Build and nurture relationships with prospects for future opportunities.
· Monitor market trends and competitors and share insights with the sales team.
· Prepare weekly reports on lead activity, pipeline status, and conversions.
Qualifications & Skills Required
· 0.6–2 years of experience in business development, inside sales, IT staffing, or B2B sales.
· Basic understanding of IT services, staffing, or resource augmentation models (training will be provided).
· Exposure to outbound prospecting via LinkedIn, email, or calling is a plus.
· Familiarity with online marketplaces platforms is an added advantage.
· Working knowledge of CRM or sales tools (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, HubSpot, Zoho, Apollo, etc.) is preferred.
· Willingness to learn about IT roles and technologies (development, QA, cloud, DevOps).
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
· High energy, self-motivated attitude with a willingness to learn and grow in sales.
