IT Recruiter

An IT Sourcer is responsible for identifying, attracting, and engaging qualified IT professionals for open technical positions. They work closely with recruiters and hiring managers to build talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Source candidates through job boards, social media, and professional networks such as LinkedIn, GitHub, and Stack Overflow
• Review resumes and online profiles to assess technical skills and experience
• Conduct initial outreach and pre-screening calls with potential candidates
• Build and maintain relationships with passive candidates
• Maintain and update candidate databases and applicant tracking systems (ATS)
• Track sourcing metrics and provide reports to recruiters and hiring managers
• Understand technical job requirements (e.g., software development, cybersecurity, cloud computing, data science)
• Required Skills Knowledge of IT roles (Developers, Network Engineers, DevOps, QA, etc.)
• Familiarity with sourcing tools and Boolean search techniques
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to evaluate technical resumes
• Basic understanding of programming languages and technologies
• Organizational and time-management skills

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, IT, or related field (preferred)

Experience in recruitment or talent sourcing (1–3 years preferred)

Experience sourcing technical roles is an advantage
