Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

• Ensuing compliance of the statutory compliances.
• Ensuring effective implementation of EHS Management Systems, undertaking periodical safety audits, surveys and inspections, safety walk-through to identify the unsafe behaviours, conditions and ensuring compliance of recommended measures, Implementation of Behaviour Based Safety (BBS), Motivating workers for following safety practices and demonstrating safe behavior at site, creating safety awareness through toolbox talk, safety oath, safety trainings, safety promotional activities.
• Development and implementation of Emergency Preparedness and Response (EPR) system to tackle any emergent situations effectively, conducting mock drills and rehearsal to identify shortcomings and updating EPR, Organizing the Safety Committee Meetings, developing and implementing measures for contractor safety management, Investigation and analysis of incidents and near-miss incidents to prevent recurrence, regulating Permit-to-work system for critical jobs LOTO, material hand ling activities etc.Inspection, maintenance and upkeep of firefighting systems
• Mandatory to have CLI/RLI
