Overview


The Sales Executive will be responsible for generating leads, converting inquiries into confirmed bookings, building strong client relationships, and achieving sales targets. The role requires excellent communication, negotiation, and product knowledge to deliver customized travel solutions to clients.

  • Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and generate new sales opportunities through cold calls, networking, referrals, and digital platforms.
  • Handle inbound inquiries, understand customer travel requirements, and provide suitable itineraries/packages.
  • Promote and sell holiday packages, group tours, corporate travel, and other travel-related services.
  • Develop strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Negotiate with hotels, transporters, and other vendors to create competitive packages.
  • Maintain records of leads, customer interactions, and bookings in CRM/software.
  • Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets.
  • Stay updated with travel trends, destinations, airline schedules, visa rules, and new packages.
  • Assist in after-sales support including customer service during the trip.
  • Required Skills & CompetenciesStrong communication and persuasive skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and closing abilities.
  • Customer-oriented with problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of domestic & international travel destinations.
  • Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, CRM, emails).
  • Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree (preferably in Tourism, Business, or related field).
  • 1–3 years of sales experience (preferably in travel/hospitality industry).
  • Freshers with strong communication skills and passion for travel may also be considered.
  • Performance Indicators (KPIs)Number of leads converted into bookings.
  • Achievement of monthly sales revenue targets.
  • Client satisfaction and repeat bookings.
  • Contribution to company’s overall business growth.
