About the Role: The University seeks an experienced and dynamic Team Leader to manage end-to-end operations of the Admissions Contact Centre for Shoolini Online and Distance Education. The ideal candidate will oversee daily operations, team management, and lead generation while focusing on improving conversion rates and will lead and drive the performance of a team of 20-30 members. The candidate will be will be responsible for supervising, managing and motivating team members on a daily basis.

Team Leader will be the contact point for all team members. Team Leader should possess excellent communication skills and have a passion for helping others achieve their educational goals, this is the perfect opportunity for you to start or grow your career in the education industry.

Ultimately, you should lead by setting a good example and engage the team to achieve their daily, weekly and monthly goals/targets through regular sessions, briefings and trainings which helps them to attain their career goals.

You should also be able to act proactively to ensure smooth team operations, effective deliveries and team collaboration.

Responsibilities:

1. Team Management

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the team.
  • Ensure team members understand their roles, responsibilities, and expectations.
  • Monitor individual and team performance, providing feedback and guidance.
  • Driving Sales

2. Motivation and Development

  • Motivate team members to meet or exceed targets and goals with regards to admissions.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and professional development opportunities.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and set improvement plans as needed.

3. Communication

  • Act as the main point of contact between team members and upper management.
  • Relay important updates, changes, and feedback to the team.
  • Foster open communication within the team to address concerns and suggestions.

4. Problem Solving

  • Identify challenges and resolve conflicts within the team effectively.
  • Provide solutions to operational or interpersonal issues that arise.

5. Goal Setting and Planning

  • Set clear, measurable goals for the team.
  • Develop action plans to achieve objectives and ensure deadlines are met.

6. Quality Assurance

  • Ensure tasks and deliverables meet the required standards.
  • Conduct regular quality checks and address areas of improvement.

7. Resource Management

  • Allocate tasks and manage workloads efficiently.
  • Ensure the team has the necessary tools and resources to succeed.

8. Reporting and Documentation

  • Track and report on team performance metrics and progress to senior management.
  • Maintain records of team activities, accomplishments, and challenges.

9. Collaboration

  • Coordinate with other departments or teams to achieve company goals.
  • Encourage collaboration within the team to maximize productivity and creativity.

10. Compliance

  • Ensure the team adheres to company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Management, or a related discipline). Preferred Post Graduation from any renowned University or College.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Excellent Sales Skills
  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience in team handling and driving sales, preferably in the education sector.
  • Preferred industries are Edtech, BPO, KPO, Aviation/hospitality etc.
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex information and articulate the benefits of our educational programs.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with team.
  • Detail-oriented with good organizational and time management skills.
  • Should be KPI oriented.  Track and report on team performance metrics and progress to senior management.
