Job Description

  • Good experience in an electronics manufacturing environment / assembly house as SMD Soldering / Technician or similar role
  • Hands on experience with soldering of SMD components
  • SMD component identification
  • Perform manual soldering of through-hole and SMD components on PCBs
  • Read and understand schematics, PCB layouts, and assembly drawings
  • Ensure solder joints meet quality and reliability standards
  • Identify and correct soldering defects such as dry joints, bridges, and cold solder
  • Carry out rework, desoldering, and component replacement when required
  • Handle soldering tools, hot air stations, and ESD-safe equipment properly
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
