Job Title: Study Abroad Counsellor

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and student-centric Study Abroad Counsellor to guide students through the entire overseas education process. The counsellor will advise students on course selection, university applications, documentation, and visa procedures while ensuring a smooth and ethical counselling experience.

Key Responsibilities

-Cold Calling on Fresh data provided and generate leads further making close ended conversations .

-Counsel students on study abroad options including countries, universities, courses, and career outcomes

-Assess student profiles (academic background, finances, goals) and suggest suitable programs

-Assist students with university applications, offer letters, and enrollment processes

-Guide students on visa documentation, SOPs, financial documents, and interview preparation

-Maintain up-to-date knowledge of admission criteria, visa rules, and scholarships

-To counsel clients about student visa process & requirements of countries like Canada, UK, USA, Australia, New Zealand, Europe etc.

Proficiency in Australia, United Kingdom, Canada and Europe Study Visa Counselling is must. Other countries knowledge will be added advantage.

-Follow up with students and parents to ensure successful conversion and satisfaction

-Maintain accurate student records and update CRM systems

-Participate in seminars, fairs, and promotional events when required

-Achieve assigned counseling and enrollment targets

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (any discipline; Education/Management preferred)

Experience in study abroad counselling (freshers with strong communication skills may apply)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge of major study destinations (UK, USA, Canada, Australia, Europe, Dubai, etc.)

Strong documentation and organizational skills

Ability to work under deadlines and meet targets

Proficiency in MS Office / CRM tools

Preferred Skills

Prior experience in an education consultancy

Understanding of visa processes and embassy requirements

Sales or counseling background

Multilingual skills (English + regional language is a plus)
