Technician

Position Overview:

1. Exposure in timely project execution role in Oil & Gas retail sector (Any other MEP/Fuel System/HSE

project experience).

2. Thorough understanding of Project Management phases, techniques and tools

3. Key Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for the installation of fuel systems while maintaining high safety standards and ensuring zero

leaks.

2. Actively participate in discussions with the Program Coordinator for weekly work planning in alignment with

the overall project schedule.

3. Provide daily progress updates to the Program Coordinator.

4. Measure completed work and verify contractor bills for accuracy.

5. Coordinate with QA/QC teams for material inspections.

6. Perform additional duties assigned by the reporting manager to support program activities.

7. Assist in the preparation of documentation required for weekly and monthly reports.

8. Inspect workmanship and material quality to ensure compliance with approved standards and specifications.

9. Update material stock and prepare weekly material requirements.

10. Serve as the custodian of tools used in project work and oversee their proper handling and maintenance.

11. Study project drawings and prepare/interpret Material Take-Off (MTO).

12. Prepare as-built drawings and joint measurement reports.

13. Knowledge of MS Project is an added advantage.

5. Essential Knowledge & Skills:

1. 1–3 years of experience in project work, preferably in oil & gas, industrial, or chemical industries.

2. Hands-on experience in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems, including installation,

commissioning, and troubleshooting of related equipment.

3. Familiarity with industry standards and safety practices in MEP work.

6.Desirable Skills:

1. Candidates from the respective state location are preferred.

2. Proficiency in local languages and English is essential, with knowledge of Hindi being an added advantage.

3. Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to dynamic project requirements.

4. Ability to collaborate effectively in diverse and cross-functional teams.

5. Flexibility to work in challenging environments and handle multiple tasks efficiently

7.Other Requirements:

1. Willingness to undertake extensive travel across project sites, often at short notice.

2. Experience in coordinating with contractors, vendors, and clients for MEP-related activities.

3. Capacity to manage work schedules and timelines under pressure while ensuring quality standards.

4. A proactive approach to learning and implementing advanced technologies in MEP systems.

8.Salary Range:

As per State minimum wages and work experience.
