🧠 Role Overview

We are looking for a creative and performance-oriented Video Editor who can edit engaging videos, add strong visuals & captions, and experiment with multiple editing styles especially for direct response and social media content.

If you’re comfortable coming on camera, shooting basic talking-head videos, or helping with simple shoots, that’s a big plus

🎯 Key Responsibilities

Edit short-form & long-form videos (Reels, Shorts, Ads, YouTube content)

Add scroll-stopping visuals, B-rolls, overlays, sound effects, and captions

Create high-retention edits with strong hooks in the first 3 seconds

Understand and apply direct response editing principles:

Clear hooks

Fast pacing

Pattern interrupts

Visual storytelling

CTA-driven endings

Experiment with different editing styles (UGC, talking-head, meme-style, cinematic, minimal, fast-cut, etc.)

Write or optimize on-screen captions & subtitles for clarity and conversions

Stay updated with Instagram / YouTube trends and viral formats

(Optional) Shoot basic talking-head videos or appear on camera if comfortable

🛠️ Required Skills

Strong knowledge of Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro / CapCut / After Effects

Understanding of direct response ads & content editing

Good sense of timing, rhythm, and storytelling

Ability to think beyond basic cuts — editing that sells, not just looks good

Understanding of captions, hooks, pacing, and audience psychology

🌟 Good to Have (Not Mandatory)

Experience editing ads, UGC, or performance content

On-camera confidence (talking-head videos)

Basic shooting knowledge (phone shooting is enough)

Knowledge of A/B testing creatives or ad performance metrics

👶 Experience Level

Junior or Senior Editor

Portfolio preferred (even Instagram or personal edits are fine)
