Job PurposeTo manage and optimize plastic injection molding processes, ensuring high-quality production, minimal rejection, and efficient machine utilization in line with production targets.

• Key ResponsibilitiesSet up, operate, and optimize plastic injection molding machines.
• Perform mold trials, process validation, and parameter setting.
• Ensure consistent product quality by monitoring cycle time, defects, and process stability.
• Troubleshoot molding defects such as short shot, flash, sink marks, warpage, flow lines, etc.
• Coordinate with Tool Room / Maintenance for mold and machine issues.
• Implement process improvements to reduce rejection and downtime.
• Maintain process sheets, control plans, and production documentation.
• Support new product development (NPD) and pilot runs.
• Ensure adherence to 5S, safety, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with Quality, PPC, and Production teams.
• Support internal and customer audits.
• Machines & Material Exposure (Preferred)Injection Molding Machines (e.g., Toshiba, JSW, Engel, Ferromatic, Haitian)
• Materials: PP, ABS, Nylon, POM, PC, PVC, etc.
• Hot runner & cold runner molds
• Skills & CompetenciesStrong knowledge of injection molding process and tooling
• Ability to analyze and solve process-related issues
• Knowledge of ISO / IATF quality systems
• Basic understanding of TPM, Lean, and Kaizen
• Good communication and team coordination skills
• Educational QualificationDiploma / BE / B.Tech – Mechanical / Plastics / Polymer Engineering
• Experience2 to 6 years experience as Molding Engineer in plastic manufacturing industry
• Fresher with strong molding knowledge may be considered (junior role)
