Job Purpose To manage procurement of raw materials, consumables, tools, and services required for manufacturing operations while ensuring cost efficiency, quality, and timely delivery.

• Key ResponsibilitiesSource and procure raw materials, plastic granules, engineering items, machine spares, tools, and consumables.
• Develop and maintain vendor relationships; identify new vendors as required.
• Prepare and process Purchase Requisitions (PR), Purchase Orders (PO).
• Negotiate price, delivery schedules, and payment terms with suppliers.
• Ensure on-time material availability to avoid production delays.
• Coordinate with Stores, Production, Quality, and Accounts departments.
• Track order status, follow up on deliveries, and resolve supply issues.
• Verify GRN, invoices, and coordinate for timely payments.
• Maintain accurate purchase records, vendor master, and MIS reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
• Support cost-reduction initiatives and continuous improvement.

• Special Purpose Machine (SPM) / Engineering Industry
• Automotive / Industrial Components
• Skills & CompetenciesStrong negotiation and vendor management skills
• Knowledge of purchase procedures and inventory control
• Proficiency in ERP / SAP / Tally / MS Excel
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
