Job Description
SDBI is looking for a full-time Academic Operations Executive for its Mumbai campus at Patkar Varde College. The role involves managing day-to-day academic administration, coordinating with faculty and students, and ensuring smooth execution of academic processes.
This position is ideal for someone who understands how higher education institutions operate, is detail-oriented, and can efficiently manage multiple academic and administrative responsibilities.
Candidates who can support basic teaching in Mathematics/Statistics will have an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Academic Operations & Coordination
- Manage lecture scheduling and timetable planning on LMS
- Coordinate with faculty for weekly schedules, syllabus updates, assignments, and lecture changes
- Ensure smooth academic delivery across batches
- Examinations & Academic Support
- Format question papers as per college/university requirements
- Coordinate internal assessments and examinations
- Maintain records of past papers and academic documents
- Student & Faculty Management
- Maintain attendance and generate monthly reports
- Share updates with students and parents when required
- Manage student database and academic records
- Handle student feedback and coordinate with faculty
- Track and manage student and faculty leave records
- Content & LMS Management
- Upload PPTs, syllabus, reference materials, and academic content on LMS
- Update results and maintain structured academic data
- Ensure LMS is regularly updated and organized
- Administrative & Operational Tasks
- Maintain documentation using MS Word and Excel
- Support onboarding of new batches (orientation, communication groups, etc.)
- Assist in faculty onboarding and coordination
- Share college notices across platforms (LMS, email, WhatsApp)
- Prepare reports for academic activities and sessions
- Candidate Profile
- Graduate in any discipline (Education/Management preferred)
Skills and Qualifications

- Effective coordination and communication skills
- Problem-solving mindset
- Interest in working in the education and academic operations space
- 2–5 years of experience in college administration or academic operations
- Strong understanding of higher education processes
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Good organizational and coordination skills
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively
- Basic knowledge or ability to teach Maths/Statistics (preferred)
