Academic Counselor

Role Overview:

The Admission Counselor is responsible for driving student enrollments by managing prospective leads, delivering accurate program information, and ensuring a seamless admission experience. The role requires a target-driven professional with strong communication, counseling, and conversion skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead Management & ConversionHandle inbound and outbound calls to prospective students and parents.

• Engage with leads generated through digital campaigns, walk-ins, and referrals.
• Convert inquiries into confirmed admissions through structured follow-ups.

2. Student CounselingProvide detailed guidance on undergraduate and PGDM programs, including eligibility, curriculum, fees, and career pathways.

• Address queries and concerns of students and parents professionally.
• Build trust and maintain long-term engagement with prospects.

3. Admission Process ManagementAssist applicants in completing application forms and documentation.

• Ensure timely submission and verification of required documents.
• Coordinate with internal teams for smooth admission processing and onboarding.

4. CRM & Data ManagementMaintain accurate records of all interactions in CRM systems.

• Track lead status, follow-ups, and conversion metrics.
• Generate periodic reports on lead performance and admission status.

5. Target AchievementAchieve monthly and quarterly admission targets.

• Meet defined KPIs related to calls, follow-ups, and conversion ratios.
