Job Description

  • 1. Accounting & BookkeepingMaintain books of accounts in accounting software (Tally / Zoho / ERP).
  • Record sales, purchases, expenses, and journal entries.
  • Prepare bank, debtor, and creditor reconciliations.
  • Maintain general ledger and subsidiary ledgers.
  • 2. GST CompliancePreparation and reconciliation of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and GSTR-2B.
  • Input Tax Credit reconciliation and follow-up with vendors.
  • Assist in GST notices, assessments, and departmental queries.
  • Maintain GST working papers and documentation.
  • 3. Financial ReportingPrepare monthly MIS reports.
  • Assist in preparation of profit & loss account and balance sheet.
  • Monitor cash flow and expense tracking.
  • 4. Accounts Payable & ReceivableManage vendor payments and customer collections.
  • Verify purchase invoices and supporting documents.
  • Track outstanding receivables and follow up with clients.
  • 5. Compliance & AuditAssist in statutory audit, tax audit, and internal audit.
  • Maintain records for income tax and GST compliance.
  • Prepare schedules and documents required by auditors.
  • Required SkillsStrong knowledge of Accounting Principles
  • Knowledge of GST compliance and taxation
  • Proficiency in Tally / Excel / Accounting software
  • Good analytical and reconciliation skills
  • Attention to detail and documentation
