Accountant

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to manage financial records and support everyday accounting operations in our business. The ideal candidate should have experience handling hospitality accounts, vendor payments, reconciliations, and statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate books of accounts for restaurant operations
• Record daily sales, expenses, and cash transactions
• Handle accounts payable and receivable
• Prepare bank and cash reconciliations
• Manage vendor invoices and ensure timely payments
• Assist in monthly and yearly closing of accounts
• Prepare financial reports and statements
• Support GST, TDS and VAT compliance, filings, and audits
• Coordinate with auditors and tax consultants
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance
• Knowledge of accounting principles and hospitality accounting practices
• Experience with accounting software (Tally)
• Understanding of GST and basic taxation
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and organizational skills
