Accountant

Job Title: Accountant (Accounts Management & Taxation)

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage daily accounting operations, including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations
• Prepare and analyze financial statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections
• Manage bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
• Ensure accurate bookkeeping and compliance with accounting standards
• Prepare and file GST returns, TDS returns, and other statutory filings
• Handle income tax calculations, filings, and compliance
• Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits
• Maintain proper documentation of financial records and transactions
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Identify discrepancies and suggest improvements in financial processes

Specific Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA/Inter CA preferred)
• 2–5 years of experience in accounting and taxation
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally)
• Good understanding of MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, etc.)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
• Good communication and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• (Optional)Experience in handling company audits
• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance laws
• Experience in managing multiple accounts or clients
