Job Overview :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our growing team at IP SUPERSHOPEE PVT LTD. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This role will play a key part in ensuring the smooth financial operations of our eCommerce business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Recordkeeping: Maintain and update accurate records of all financial transactions, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage and process payments, receipts, and invoices. Track outstanding accounts and follow up with customers and vendors to ensure timely payments.
• Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliations of bank statements and company accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare Financial Statements: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Tax Compliance: Ensure that all tax filings (GST, TDS, income tax, etc.) are completed accurately and submitted on time. Collaborate with auditors to ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts, monitoring actual financial performance against budgets, and identifying areas for improvement.
• Expense Management: Track and control company expenses, ensuring that spending is aligned with the budget and business goals.
• Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to provide insights into business performance, profitability, and areas for cost reduction.
• Documentation and Filing: Ensure proper documentation and filing of all financial records, invoices, receipts, and other necessary accounting documents.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 1 years of experience as an accountant, preferably in an eCommerce or retail environment.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books), MS Excel, and financial reporting tools.
• Knowledge of Taxation: Good understanding of GST, TDS, and other tax regulations applicable to Indian businesses.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional Certification (e.g., CA, CMA, or CPA) is a plus but not mandatory.
• Experience in eCommerce Accounting is preferred but not required.
