Job Title: Accountant

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to manage financial records, ensure accuracy in reporting, and support day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
• Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
• Prepare financial reports, statements, and analyses
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulations
• Support audits by providing documentation and explanations as needed
• Monitor expenses, budgets, and cash flow
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve accounting discrepancies
• Assist with tax preparation and filings, if applicable

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP (or relevant accounting standards)
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP)
• Advanced Excel or spreadsheet skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational and time-management skills

Preferred Skills:

• CPA or progress toward certification
• Experience as a accountant
• Familiarity with payroll and tax regulations
• Ability to analyze financial data and provide insights
