Job Description:

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team at Z J Arsiwala & Associate Chartered Accounts. The role involves managing day-to-day accounting operations, reconciliations, statutory compliance, and supporting month-end closure activities. The ideal candidate should be proactive, accurate, and capable of handling multiple responsibilities while

ensuring timely reporting and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record and process day-to-day bill booking and invoicing.
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) reconciliations.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure transaction accuracy.
• Handle payments processing and follow up with customers for collections.
• Communicate with vendors and customers regarding billing, recovery, and query

resolution.

• Prepare and file GST and TDS returns.
• Support monthly book closure and ensure timely financial reporting.
• Assist in preparation of financial statements (good to have)
• Prepare and deliver MIS reports to partners (good to have)
• Support cost centre accounting and analysis (good to have)

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and statutory compliance (GST, TDS,

etc.).

• Proficiency in Tally and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Working knowledge of Zoho Books or similar accounting software (good to have).
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with vendors, clients,

and internal teams.

Qualifications:

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
• 2- 8 years of relevant accounting experience.
