Accountant

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to manage financial records, ensure accuracy in reporting, and support the organization’s financial health. The Accountant will handle day-to-day accounting tasks, prepare financial statements, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, examine, and analyze financial statements and reports
• Maintain general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial records
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies
• Prepare and file tax returns and support audits
• Identify discrepancies and recommend process improvements
• Support management with financial analysis and insights

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to meet deadlines and handle confidential information

Preferred Skills

• CPA or equivalent certification
• Experience with tax preparation and audits
• Knowledge of industry-specific regulations
