Accountant

We are seeking a diligent and organized Internal Accountant to manage the firm’s financial health. This role is focused on maintaining precise internal accounts, overseeing the end-to-end billing cycle, and ensuring timely fee recovery to maintain healthy cash flow for the practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Internal Bookkeeping: Maintain the firm’s daily accounts, including recording expenses, managing petty cash, and performing monthly bank reconciliations.
• Billing & Invoicing: Generate professional invoices for clients based on project milestones, hourly rates, or retainer agreements. Ensure all disbursements and out-of-pocket expenses are accurately billed.
• Accounts Receivable & Recovery: Monitor the aging of accounts receivable. Proactively follow up with clients via email and phone to ensure timely recovery of outstanding fees.
• Payroll & Compliance: Process monthly staff payroll and ensure the firm’s internal statutory compliances (such as TDS on vendor payments and Professional Tax) are met on time.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly reports for management, including cash flow statements, outstanding dues reports, and expense analysis.
• Vendor Management: Verify and process payments for office utilities, software subscriptions, and other service providers.
