Accountant

Key Responsibilities

1) Daily Accounting Work

• Maintain daily entries in Tally / ERP
• Record sales invoices, purchase bills, debit/credit notes
• Maintain cash book & bank book
• Track receivables (party payments) and follow up for collections
• Track payables (vendor payments) and prepare payment plan

2) GST & Compliance

• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B)
• Match GST with GSTR-2B and ensure correct input credit
• Handle E-way bills and basic GST compliance support

3) TDS & Payroll Support

• Deduct and file TDS (if applicable)
• Assist in salary processing and attendance-based payroll support
• Maintain employee reimbursement records

4) Banking & Reconciliation

• Do bank reconciliation regularly
• Handle cheque entries, NEFT/RTGS tracking
• Maintain proper documentation for payments and receipts

5) Inventory & Manufacturing Support

• Maintain basic stock entries (raw material, finished goods)
• Coordinate with store / production team for material inward-outward
• Maintain purchase order, GRN, and invoice matching

6) Monthly Closing & Reports

• Assist in monthly closing
• Prepare basic reports like:

• Outstanding receivable list
• Outstanding payable list
• Expense summary
• Sales / purchase summary

7) Documentation & Audit Support

• Maintain proper filing of invoices and vouchers
• Support internal audit / CA audit work
• Coordinate with CA for compliance and returns

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance (B.Com preferred)
• 2–5 years experience in accounting (manufacturing preferred)
• Strong working knowledge of:

• GST basics, ledger accounting
• Good communication & coordination skills
