Job Overview:We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant with at least 1 year of relevant experience.

The ideal candidate should reside near Goregaon, Mumbai, and possess solid knowledge of accounting principles, Excel, and internet-based research.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accounting Support: Assist in preparing and maintaining accurate financial records and reports.
• Data Entry & Reporting: Perform data entry tasks and prepare various financial reports as required.
• Reconciliation: Support account reconciliation processes.
• Audit Assistance: Help conduct statutory, internal, and tax audits across different industries.
• Taxation: Assist in preparing and filing GST, TDS, and Income Tax returns.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Client Interaction: Communicate with clients for data collection, updates, and clarifications.
• Research: Conduct research on relevant accounting and tax issues to assist senior team members.
• Support Month-End & Year-End Closures: Contribute to closing activities with accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting or a related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable using the internet for research and tools.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Willingness to learn, adapt to changes, and take initiative.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Residents from Goregaon or nearby areas will be given preference.
