Accountant Cum Office Assistant

Accounting & Finance

• Maintain day-to-day books of accounts using Tally or similar accounting software
• Record all purchase invoices, sales invoices, and payment entries accurately and on time
• Track accounts receivable — follow up with customers for outstanding payments and maintain an updated debtor ledger
• Track accounts payable — manage vendor payment schedules and ensure dues are cleared on time
• Prepare GST working (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and coordinate with the CA for timely filing
• Assist in preparing monthly MIS reports — sales summary, purchase summary, cash flow, and outstanding statements
• Maintain import purchase records including landed cost calculations (customs duty, freight, clearing charges)
• Handle petty cash and maintain daily cash book
• Support year-end audit preparation and provide required documents to the auditor

Office Administration

• Manage and organize all physical and digital documents — invoices, purchase orders, import documents, contracts
• Coordinate with suppliers and freight forwarders for shipment updates and document collection
• Handle day-to-day communication with vendors and customers via phone, WhatsApp, and email
• Prepare quotations, purchase orders, and delivery challans as required
• Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when required
• Assist the owner/management with scheduling, follow-ups, and ad hoc tasks
• Maintain a tracker for pending tasks, outstanding payments, and important deadlines
