Job Description: Accounts and HR Manager – Zenia Hospitality


Position Overview:

Zenia Hospitality is seeking a meticulous and disciplined Accounts and HR Manager to oversee financial operations while managing human resources functions across the organization. This role will primarily focus on accounts, including budgeting, compliance, and financial reporting, with additional responsibilities in HR to ensure efficient employee management and policy enforcement. The ideal candidate will be strict, detail-oriented, and capable of implementing rules and processes to maintain high operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:


Accounts Management (Primary Focus):


1. Financial Oversight:


Manage day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, and reconciliations.


Prepare and monitor budgets, ensuring adherence to financial goals.


Generate accurate financial reports, including P&L statements and cash flow analysis, for review by management.




2. Compliance and Taxation:


Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, including GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.


Prepare and file tax returns accurately and on time.


Coordinate with external auditors and consultants for audits and financial reviews.




3. Cost Control and Vendor Management:


Oversee vendor payments, contracts, and negotiations to ensure cost efficiency.


Monitor operational expenses and recommend strategies for cost optimization.




4. Payroll Administration:


Process monthly payroll, including deductions, bonuses, and statutory contributions.


Maintain accurate employee compensation records and address payroll-related queries.

Human Resources Management (Secondary Focus):


1. Policy Implementation:


Develop, update, and enforce company policies, rules, and procedures.


Ensure employee compliance with organizational standards and practices.


Address violations and implement disciplinary measures as needed.




2. Recruitment and Onboarding:


Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding.


Maintain employee records, contracts, and documentation in compliance with legal requirements.




3. Employee Relations:


Act as a point of contact for employee grievances and concerns, ensuring fair and prompt resolution.


Foster a positive and productive workplace environment while maintaining authority.




4. Performance Management:


Develop performance appraisal systems and ensure timely reviews.


Collaborate with department heads to identify training and development needs.




5. Attendance and Leave Management:


Monitor attendance, leave, and overtime records to ensure accurate payroll processing.


Implement systems for tracking and improving punctuality and productivity.

Qualifications:


Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or a related field (CA Inter or MBA preferred).


5+ years of experience in accounting roles with some exposure to HR functions.


Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks) and MS Excel.


Familiarity with labor laws, compliance regulations, and HR best practices.


Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
