Role Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Accountant to support our accounts team. This role will focus on client payment follow-ups, petty cash management, and accurate recording of financial transactions. The ideal candidate should be confident in communication, well-presented, and comfortable coordinating with clients and internal teams.



Key Responsibilities


1. Client Payment Follow-ups

  • Regularly follow up with clients for outstanding payments via calls, emails, and messages
  • Maintain and update receivables tracking sheets
  • Coordinate with the sales and operations team for billing and collections
  • Ensure timely collections and report delays/escalations



2. Accounting & Bookkeeping

  • Record all sales and purchase transactions accurately in accounting software
  • Maintain proper documentation for invoices, bills, and vouchers
  • Assist in reconciliation of accounts (bank, vendor, customer)
  • Support monthly closing activities



3. Petty Cash Management

  • Handle day-to-day petty cash transactions
  • Maintain records and vouchers for all expenses
  • Ensure proper tracking and reporting of petty cash usage



Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance
  • 1–3 years of experience in accounting or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles
  • Proficiency in Tally / Zoho Books / Excel
  • Excellent communication skills (spoken & written)
  • Well-presented, organized, and professional demeanor
  • Strong follow-up skills and attention to detail
