Job Role – Accountant

Roles, Tasks & Responsibilities

1. Daily Activities

Verify all expenses (rate & quantity) on a daily basis — Cutter, Transport, Office, and Maintenance.

Check all order documents the next day: Challan, Invoice, E-way Bill, MTC, and then generate the E-Invoice.

Allocate funds daily based on funds available: Suppliers, Expense Invoices, Transport, Loans.

Prepare and submit daily report of Outstanding Debtors & Creditors.

Monitor selected customers whose payments exceed 90 days and follow up strictly to maintain payment cycle within 90 days.

2. Weekly Activities

Submit weekly reports:

Stock Report

Pending PO & SO

Incoming Import Quantity

3. Monthly Activities

Ensure GST & TDS compliance and timely filing as per government guidelines.

Submit Stock Statement to bank by 5th of every month as per latest bank format.

Ensure salary is paid between 7th to 10th of every month.

Provide monthly reports:

Repeat Customers

Sales Comparison

Sales via Dinesh Bhai

Bank Charges

GST Input

4. Quarterly Activities

Prepare Balance Sheet (Quarterly).

Check Form 26AS.

Scrutinize all party ledgers.

5. Sales Order & Discount Control

Verify every Sales Order (SO) carefully.

Understand and confirm discounts with Kamlesh Sir & Vishal Sir.

Maintain proper record in SO Excel / Jindal Discount Excel.

6. Import & Banking

Ensure import consignments are cleared on time without penalty or interest.

Prepare cost sheet immediately upon consignment arrival.

Minimize LC discounting for faster payment realization.

Submit yearly LC & OD renewal updates for LC limit.
