Job Description – Admission Counsellor

Key Responsibilities:

• Counsel students and parents for admissions into JEE, NEET, Foundation (5th–10th), Board, IB & IGCSE, and One-to-One programs.
• Handle walk-in enquiries, incoming calls, WhatsApp leads, website leads, and referrals.
• Call school databases (schools, parents’ contacts, PTM data, counsellor references) to generate fresh enquiries and schedule counselling sessions.
• Develop and maintain relationships with school counsellors, teachers, and coordinators for lead generation.
• Conduct outbound calling campaigns for schools, exams, demo classes, seminars, and workshops.
• Perform detailed student need analysis and recommend the most suitable academic pathway.
• Clearly explain course structure, pedagogy, faculty strength, fees, and outcomes.
• Follow up systematically with parents and students to maximize conversion.
• Maintain accurate lead tracking, calling records, follow-ups, and conversion data in CRM / Excel.
• Coordinate with faculty, operations, and accounts for onboarding and batch allocation.
• Participate in school programs, seminars, open houses, and admission drives.
• Achieve monthly enquiry, counselling, and admission targets.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Graduate/Postgraduate (Education / Psychology / Management preferred).
• Strong telephonic and face-to-face communication skills.
• Comfortable with outbound calling and school data handling.
• Ability to build trust with parents and school authorities.
• Working knowledge of Excel, Google Sheets, CRM tools.
