Job Description

Area Sales Manager: Mumbai

 

Role Purpose

To drive Cytron’s sell-out, staff advocacy, and brand visibility across Large Format Retailers through retail training, field operations, influencing product recommendations, and accurate reporting.

 

Key Responsibilities

Retail Staff Training

•          Train store staff on Cytron products including Qi2 chargers, GaN chargers, power banks, cables, and hubs.

•          Conduct morning huddles, refreshers, and demonstrations.

•          Explain strengths vs Competition

•          Maintain training logs, attendance, and test scores.

In-Store Sales Execution

•          Drive sell-out in assigned stores.

•          Influence store staff to recommend Cytron.

•          Support customer conversion with demos.

•          Ensure planogram execution, visibility, and price accuracy.

•          Retail Operations & Retail Math

•          Perform stock checks, RTV, FIFO, planogram compliance.

•          Use basic retail math: sell-out vs sell-in, attach rate, ASP, stock cover.

•          Update daily/weekly reports using Google Sheets.

•          Competition Intelligence

•          Track competitor offers, new SKUs, pricing, visibility.

•          Submit weekly insights with photos.

•          Retailer Relationship Management

•          Build rapport with Store Managers & Department Heads.

•          Participate in events, activations, and brand showcases.
