Job Title: Assistant/Deputy Manager - Training Department: Training Location: Mumbai All Areas Position


Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Assistant/Deputy Manager to join our Training and Development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, coordinating, and delivering training programs aimed at enhancing employee skills, knowledge, and performance. This role involves working closely with department heads to assess training needs, implementing development initiatives, and tracking the effectiveness of training programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Training Program Design & Delivery: o Develop and implement training programs that align with the organization’s goals and employee development needs. o Conduct training sessions on various topics including leadership, communication skills, technical competencies, compliance, and company-specific processes. o Utilize a variety of training methods (e.g., classroom training, e-learning, workshops, seminars) to engage employees and improve learning outcomes.

• Training Needs Assessment: o Collaborate with managers and department heads to identify training needs and gaps within teams. o Conduct skill gap analyses and suggest relevant training interventions based on business objectives and employee performance. • Induction Training: o Oversee and manage the Induction Process for new hires, ensuring they receive essential training in company policies, culture, and job-specific skills. o Coordinate induction training sessions for new employees to ensure a smooth transition into the organization.

• Training Evaluation & Feedback: o Measure the effectiveness of training programs using evaluation tools (e.g., feedback surveys, assessments, performance tracking). o Analyze feedback and make improvements to training programs to ensure continuous learning and development. • Learning Management System (LMS) Management: o Manage the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring all training records are up-to-date and easily accessible. o Track employee participation in mandatory and optional training programs, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.

• Leadership & Soft Skills Development: o Design and implement leadership development programs for high-potential employees. o Develop and deliver soft skills training to improve communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and customer service across the organization. o • Continuous Learning & Industry Trends: o Stay current on industry trends, new training methodologies, and best practices in training and development. o Implement innovative training techniques to enhance employee engagement and learning. Qualifications and Skills:


• Education: o Bachelor’s degree in any field.


• Experience:

o 3-5 years of experience in training, learning and development, or related roles. o Experience in designing and conducting training programs for diverse audiences. o Strong understanding of adult learning principles and various training methodologies.


• Skills: o Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire participants. o Strong organizational and time-management skills. o Ability to evaluate training effectiveness and make data-driven improvements. o Proficiency in using learning management systems (LMS), MS Office Suite, and training tools. o Ability to handle multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.


• Personal Attributes: o Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with employees at all levels. o A proactive, results-oriented approach with a passion for employee development. o Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
