Job Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated and results-oriented Assistant Manager – Sales to drive sales growth, expand customer relationships, and strengthen market presence across key cities (Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Delhi). This role will support the regional sales strategy, engage with customers, and work closely with internal teams to deliver Enlog’s energy-management solutions on ground.


This position is open to:

  • Technical candidates (e.g., B.Tech in Electrical / Electronics / Energy / similar backgrounds) with technical understanding of electricity systems and IoT products and the ability to explain technical solutions to clients.
  • Non-technical candidates with strong sales experience, customer engagement skills, and ability to learn and communicate product value effectively.


Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Growth

  • Support the implementation of regional sales strategies and plans to achieve targets.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities with enterprise and commercial customers.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Present and promote Enlog’s solution portfolio to prospective clients.
  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotes, and commercial offers.
  • Customer EngagementConduct product demonstrations & client meetings; respond to queries and technical questions (especially for technical candidates).
  • Manage end-to-end sales cycle from lead generation to closure.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (product, technical, delivery) to ensure timely client onboarding and successful deployment.
  • Market Insights & ReportingMaintain accurate CRM records and sales documentation.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and market intelligence to leadership.
  • Track competitor activities and share insights to inform strategy.
  • Team CollaborationCoordinate with cross-functional teams including marketing, operations and product to support sales initiatives.
  • Train and mentor junior sales staff as needed.


Who Should Apply?

For Technical Candidates (Preferred)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Energy Systems, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of electricity consumption, power systems, IoT devices, and technical solution presentations.
  • Ability to interpret technical requirements for customers and translate them into solution benefits.
  • Good communication skills to bridge technical and commercial discussions.

For Non-Technical Candidates

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
  • Excellent sales skills, negotiation ability, and client management experience.
  • Aptitude to learn product features and value proposition quickly.
  • Confident communicator with a consultative selling approach.
  • Skills & AttributesProven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.

  • Exposure to CRM tools and sales analytics.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. 3-7 years of experience in sales, business development, or technical sales roles.
  2. Experience in B2B technology, SaaS, energy, or IoT solutions.
  3. Familiarity with electrical systems or smart technology sales (for technical).
