SaT - TCF - Lead Advisory-Core :

Strategy and Transactions enables clients to reimagine ecosystems, reshape portfolios and reinvent for a better future. Using our Capital Agenda framework, we work with clients to find answers to today’s toughest strategic, financial, operational and commercial questions. We help corporates, private equity, governments, sovereign wealth funds, private and family businesses, and educational institutions with their key financial issues. From portfolio review and capital allocation processes to financial planning analytics and decision support, we have the people, analytics and tools to better allocate capital. Our team helps clients manage their risk/return trade-offs to support them with better decision-making around financing and capital efficiency.

Your key responsibilities

Technical Excellence

Key clients will be Private Equity and Venture Capital Firms, and the deals will entail providing them exits. These could be direct secondary direct sales to other Funds, or could also be sales to Secondaries Funds in the form of Continuation Vehicles, where the Fund will exit, but the existing Fund Manager will continue to manage the portfolio going forward. This position will be part of the Financial Services Team. As mentioned, in the majority of deals the clients will be Private Equity or Venture Capital Funds looking to exit, but in some cases the individual could also work on deals with other Financial Services Firms (like NBFCs, Insurance Companies, FinTech companies) looking to raise capital or undertake M&A deals

Technical Excellence

  • Transaction Support: Assist in the execution of PE and VC fund exits / secondary deals, including sell-side advisory services.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial modeling, valuation, and sensitivity analysis to support transaction decisions.
  • Due Diligence: As required, assist in the coordination of due diligence, including financial, operational, and market analysis.
  • Market Research: Research and analyze industry trends, financial markets, and company-specific developments within the financial services sector.
  • Client Interaction: Prepare and deliver presentations, pitch books, and other materials for client meetings and internal discussions.
  • Documentation: Support the preparation and review of transaction documentation, including information memorandums, term sheets, and other legal agreements.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with team members, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless transaction execution and client satisfaction.


Skills and attributes

To qualify for the role you must have
Qualification

  • CA or MBA (preferably from a premier institute) with a good academic background

Experience

  • 5-8 years of relevant post qualification experience
  • Preference: Investment Banks, M&A teams of large Banks, NBFCs or Insurance companies and have successfully closed deals, Private Equity / Venture Capital firms
