Job Description – Audit Team Lead / Senior Audit Professional

Location: Mumbai

Interview Mode: Onsite

Joining: Immediate joiners or notice period up to 15 days only

Package offered: 4.2 LPA - 12 LPA (depends on experience)

Qualification

• CA / B.Com / CA Student
• Preference for candidates from CA firms only
• Candidates pursuing CA should not require examination leave

Experience

• Minimum 6–8 years of experience
• Experience strictly from CA firms

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting

• Finalization of books of accounts for multiple entities
• Preparation of financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards
• Analysis of financial statements and recommendations for improvements
• Financial and tax planning for year-end and periodic book closures

Audit Planning & Execution

• Develop and implement audit plans
• Handle internal audit engagements and ensure timely completion of audit reports
• Prepare detailed audit reports with findings and recommendations
• Identify process gaps and internal control deficiencies
• Coordinate with management for corrective actions and follow-up on pending issues

Inventory & Management Audit

• Checking and preparation of Drawing Power Statements
• Preparation of various MIS reports as required by clients
• Data analysis to identify discrepancies, risks, and improvement areas

Regulatory & Compliance Awareness

• Up-to-date knowledge of:
• GST
• Income Tax Act
• Accounting Standards
• Basic knowledge of FEMA regulations
• Knowledge of SEBI compliance for listed companies is an added advantage

Interpersonal & Technical Skills

• Ability to communicate and present reports to Directors and Partners
• Mentoring and development of audit staff
• Strong attention to detail with analytical and observational skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel
• Working knowledge of Tally & Spectrum
• Knowledge of SAP will be an added advantage
