Position Overview

The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages while maintaining exceptional customer service standards. The role requires attention to detail, adherence to operational protocols, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced café environment. The Barista will also support daily café operations, including inventory management, hygiene maintenance, and order coordination.

Key Responsibilities:-

1. Beverage Preparation:- Prepare espresso-based drinks, brewed coffees, teas, and specialty beverages according to Aakarmil Café standards.

Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and quality for all beverages.

2. Customer Service:- Greet customers courteously and assist with menu queries.

Provide prompt and professional service during order taking and delivery.

3. Café Operations:- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar counter, equipment, and seating area. Assist in opening and closing procedures, including stock checks and reporting.

4. Inventory & Stock Management:- Monitor and replenish ingredients, supplies, and packaging items. Report shortages or equipment issues to the Café Manager. Assist in managing wastage and ensuring proper stock rotation.

5. Team Collaboration:-Work closely with colleagues to ensure smooth service flow.

• Qualifications & RequirementsPrior experience as a barista or café staff is preferred, but not mandatory.
• Basic knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and café operations (training will be provided).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
