About the RoleEverhome Café is looking for a highly skilled Barista who lives and breathes coffee. This role is for someone who can lead the bar, maintain exceptional quality, mentor junior staff, and deliver a warm, memorable guest experience every single time.

Key ResponsibilitiesCoffee & Beverage Excellence

• Prepare espresso-based beverages, manual brews, and specialty drinks to high standards
• Dial-in grinders daily and maintain consistency across service
• Monitor extraction, milk texture, and presentation
• Develop and maintain beverage SOPs
• Ensure speed without compromising quality

Bar Leadership

• Supervise and guide baristas during shifts
• Train new team members in coffee preparation and service standards
• Maintain workflow, cleanliness, and organisation of the coffee station
• Coordinate with kitchen and service teams for smooth operations
• 
  

Equipment & Inventory

• Maintain espresso machines, grinders, and brewing equipment
• Conduct routine cleaning and preventive maintenance
• Monitor coffee bean usage, milk, and bar supplies
• Assist in stock management and ordering
• 
  

Guest Experience

• Engage warmly with guests and handle special requests confidently
• Educate customers about coffee options when appropriate
• Resolve service issues calmly and professionally
• 
  

Hygiene & Compliance

• Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times
• Maintain a clean, organised, and visually appealing bar
• Requirements4–5 years of experience in specialty coffee or premium cafés
• Strong knowledge of espresso, milk science, and manual brewing methods
• Leadership experience preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and team skills
• Passion for hospitality and coffee culture
• Flexible to work weekends and holidays
