Billing Engineer

Key Responsibilities

1. Civil & Structural Billing

• Prepare and certify Running Account (RA) Bills for all civil works (Earthwork, RCC, Masonry, Plastering).
• Perform physical verification of site measurements against the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and structural drawings.
• Maintain a rigorous Bar Bending Schedule (BBS) to monitor steel consumption and minimize wastage.

2. Interior & Finishing WorksReview and certify bills for high-end interior works including flooring (marble/tiles), false ceilings, woodwork, and wall finishes.

• Ensure that material specifications (brand, grade, and finish) match the approved mock-ups before certifying payments.

3. MEPF (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Firefighting)Verify measurements for MEP services: conduit laying, HVAC ducting, piping, and fire alarm systems.

• Coordinate with MEP execution teams to ensure "As-Built" drawings reflect the actual work done before processing contractor claims.
• Review and verify Equipment Delivery vs. Installation milestones.

4. Cost Control & ReconciliationPerform Material Reconciliation (Theoretical vs. Actual consumption) for cement, steel, tiles, and expensive MEP components.

• Identify and process Extra Items and Variation Orders, ensuring they are backed by proper rate analysis and justification.
• Monitor project cash flow and prepare monthly Budget vs. Actual reports.
• Technical Skills & QualificationsMandatory: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.

• Experience: 3–10 years in multistoried building projects (Mixed-use or Residential).
• Software Proficiency: * Advanced MS Excel: (Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex formulas are non-negotiable).
