Billing Engineer

Measurement & Billing

• Prepare Running Account (RA) bills, final bills, and reconciliation statements.
• Measure executed quantities at site as per drawings, BOQ, and specifications.
• Take Inputs from Measurement Books (MBs) for civil, structural, and finishing works.
• Prepare and verify client bills and sub-contractor bills.
• Ensure timely submission and follow-up for certification and payment.

2. BOQ & Rate Analysis

• Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for tender and execution stages.
• Carry out rate analysis for extra items, deviations, and non-BOQ works.
• Analyse variation orders, change requests, and claim.
• Assist in tender evaluation and comparison statements.

3. Cost Control & Reconciliation

• Track material reconciliation (cement, steel, sand, aggregate).
• Maintain theoretical vs actual consumption statements.
• Prepare cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and budget vs actual analysis.

4. Contract & Documentation

• Interpret contract agreements, technical specifications, and drawings.
• Maintain and check records for extra items, deviations, and registers.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients & PMC for billing approvals.

5. Coordination & Compliance

• Coordinate with site engineers, planning team, stores, and accounts.

6. Basic Skillset Required:

·       Strong knowledge of civil

construction practices.

·        Proficient in AutoCAD

(quantity take-off).

·        Excellent command over MS

Excel (formulas).

·        Familiarity with rate

analysis.

·        Understanding of IS

codes, specifications, and contract clauses.

Must be Familiar with ERP Software.
