Billing Executive

Job Title: Billing Executive

Department: Accounts / Finance

Reports To: Accounts Manager / Finance Head

Key Responsibilities

1.Prepare customer invoices / bills as per company order, dispatch details, or service records.

1. Verify purchase orders, delivery challans, weighbridge slips, and transport documents before billing.
2. Maintain billing records, invoice register, and documentation for audit and accounting purposes.
3. Coordinate with operations, logistics, and sales teams to confirm quantities and rates.
4. Ensure accurate GST calculation and tax compliance while generating invoices.
5. Update billing data in ERP / accounting software (Tally, SAP, Excel, etc.).
6. Track pending invoices and payment status from customers.
7. Handle debit notes, credit notes, and billing corrections when required.
8. Prepare monthly billing reports and MIS reports for management.
9. Maintain proper filing of invoices, transport documents, and supporting records.
